Waste handled on site, traced off site
Segregation, bin stores, internal moves, compactors and the paper trail, with transport and disposal by a licensed carrier we manage.
- On site
- Segregation, internal collection, bin stores, compactors, hazardous storage
- Off site
- Licensed carrier per waste stream, as managed specialist work
- Every load
- A transfer record, reconciled against the invoice
- Coverage
- On site across Saudi Arabia
Waste management on an FM contract covers everything up to the gate: segregation at source, internal collection, bin stores, compactors and balers, hazardous waste storage and the transfer record. Transport and disposal are done by a carrier licensed for each waste stream, as managed specialist work.

Waste handled on site, traced off site sits at step 6 of the fm operating cycle. You receive closed work orders with photo evidence.
Your waste is still yours after it leaves
Waste looks like the least technical line on an FM contract. It is the one with the longest tail.
If a carrier dumps your waste in the desert, the trail leads back to you. If hazardous waste leaves without the right paperwork, the finding is yours. And if the carrier invoices by the trip while the skip goes out half full, the money is yours too.
Bin stores add a second problem. An overflowing container with a broken lid, on a floor nobody washes, is a feeding station for rats, flies and cockroaches sitting next to your building. So bin stores go on the cleaning scope and the pest map, and they are inspected on the same round.
The streams we set up
| Stream | How it is handled on site | Who takes it away |
|---|---|---|
| General waste | Collected on a route, and compacted where there is a compactor. | Licensed carrier |
| Cardboard and plastics | Segregated at source and baled. Any value from the material is allocated in the scope. | Licensed carrier or recycler |
| Food and organic waste | Sealed bins, collected often, with the bin area washed. | Licensed carrier |
| Grease trap waste | Pumped out on the interceptor's cycle. | Licensed tanker operator |
| Hazardous waste | Oils, chemicals, fluorescent tubes, batteries, aerosols and contaminated rags, stored bunded, labelled and segregated, with safety data sheets. | Carrier licensed for hazardous waste |
| Electronic waste | Held securely until collection. | Licensed e-waste handler |
| Construction and fit-out debris | The contractor's responsibility, checked by us before they leave site. | The contractor's licensed carrier |
What you receive
Six records that let you answer for every load that left your gate.
The waste stream map
Every generation point, its streams, the segregation station and the route to the store, drawn on your site plan.
The transfer record file
One record per load: date, stream, quantity or weight, carrier, vehicle and destination.
The monthly reconciliation sheet
Transfer records set against the carrier's invoices, with every mismatch listed and raised.
The hazardous waste register
What is stored, in which bunded area, since when, and the date it left.
Carrier licences in the vendor register
Each carrier's licence and vehicle details, with expiry dates and a reminder before renewal.
The bin store inspection record
Condition, cleanliness and pest signs, checked on the same round as the pest programme.
The paper trail
- 01
Record the load
Every load leaves with a transfer record: date, stream, quantity or weight, carrier, vehicle and destination.
- 02
Check the carrier
The carrier's licence and vehicle details sit in the vendor register with expiry dates, so a lapsed licence shows before the truck arrives.
- 03
Register what is hazardous
Hazardous waste has its own register: what is stored, where, since when, and when it left.
- 04
Reconcile the month
Transfer records are set against the carrier's invoices. A trip billed for a skip that left part empty shows up here.
- 05
Keep the machines safe
Compactors and balers are maintained as assets on the schedule, with their safety interlocks tested.
Paying by the trip for half-empty skips
A packaging plant in Dammam 2nd Industrial City sends mixed waste out in open skips, stores used oil drums on bare ground behind the workshop, and pays its carrier per trip.
We set up four streams at source: general, cardboard, plastic film and hazardous. A baler is brought back into service after its safety interlock is repaired, and cardboard goes to a recycler. Oil drums move to a bunded, labelled area with safety data sheets at the door. The carrier is asked to weigh loads, and the first month's reconciliation shows trips invoiced for skips that left partly empty.
The plant holds a waste stream map, transfer records for every load, a monthly reconciliation sheet, a hazardous waste register, the carriers' licences in the vendor register and a bin store inspection record on the pest round.
Questions about the chain
Who transports and disposes of the waste?
Carriers licensed for each waste stream, as managed specialist work. We run everything on site, hold the carriers to their scope and keep their licences and transfer records in your file.
Who gets the value from recyclables?
It is written into the scope. Some clients take it as a credit, and some use it to offset handling costs.
Can the waste be weighed?
Yes, and it should be. Weight turns an invoice by the trip into something you can check.
What about waste from our contractors?
Their waste is their responsibility, and we check that it leaves with them before they sign off.
Do the rules change in Jubail and Ras Al Khair?
Yes. In the Royal Commission cities, the Royal Commission's environmental regulations apply to industrial waste on top of the national rules, and the permits are held by the operator. We work inside those permits and keep records that fit the operator's own reporting.

Book a site survey
Ask for last month's transfer records and the carrier's invoices side by side. If nobody can produce both, the survey starts there, and its first output is the stream map.
