ITF Health

Four kinds of healthcare organisation

Each has different requirements and breaks in a different place first, so each has its own page.

ITF Health works with hospitals, clinics and polyclinics, medical laboratories and medical device companies. Hospitals and clinics prepare for CBAHI. Laboratories and blood banks have their own CBAHI programme. Device companies answer to SFDA, and the quality system they need depends on what they do with devices.

Four kinds of healthcare organisation. Hospitals answer to CBAHI's National Hospital Standards and usually break first on a contractor record that is not in the hospital's file. Clinics and polyclinics answer to CBAHI's primary care or ambulatory programmes and break first where the landlord holds the fire records. Laboratories and blood banks answer to CBAHI's laboratory programme and break first on a hazardous materials inventory that has drifted from the benches. Device companies answer to SFDA, with ISO 13485 by establishment type, and break first on a lot nobody can trace to the hospitals that received it.FOUR ORGANISATIONS, TWO REGULATORSORGANISATIONANSWERS TOFIRST TO BREAKCBAHIHOSPITALSNATIONAL HOSPITALSTANDARDSCONTRACTOR RECORDNOT IN YOUR FILECLINICSAND POLYCLINICSPRIMARY CARE ORAMBULATORYLANDLORD HOLDS THEFIRE RECORDSLABORATORIESAND BLOOD BANKSLABORATORYPROGRAMMEINVENTORY DRIFTSFROM THE BENCHESDEVICE COMPANIESSFDAISO 13485 BY TYPEA LOT NOBODY CANTRACE TO HOSPITALSSTARTED BY A SURVEY DATE, AN SFDA INSPECTION OR A TENDER LINE
