ISO 9001:2026 training, on your site sits at step 3 of the delivery cycle. You receive a proposed programme and schedule.
The edition, dated
ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026, and the transition is expected to close in September 2029.
The mechanics of that transition wait on the IAF resolution, so we give no day-level deadline. Your own certificate cycle decides when your transition audit falls.
ISO calls the revision mainly editorial, with shifts in emphasis. Quality culture and ethics are made explicit, the quality policy is tied to strategic direction, risks and opportunities are split into two clauses, Annex A is rewritten as guidance, and climate change is carried in.
Most of a working system stays, and a course that treats the revision as a rewrite wastes your people's day. Our courses say 2015 only when talking about the edition you are moving from.
Every course that touches ISO 9001
Six courses, each placed on the clause it serves. Awareness comes first; the rest follow the job a person does.
| Course | Clause it serves | Length |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001:2026 awareness | The whole standard and the 2026 changes, for the people an auditor will interview | 1 day |
| ISO 9001:2026 internal auditor | 9.2 internal audit, with checklists written as questions about evidence | 2 days |
| Document and records control | 7.5 documented information, including the external document register | ½ or 1 day |
| Risk assessment | 6.1, now split into 6.1.2 for risks and 6.1.3 for opportunities | 1 day |
| Root cause analysis | 10.2, the investigation underneath a corrective action | 1 day |
| Nonconformity and corrective action | 10.2, the system that carries a finding from report to closure | ½ day |
What stays on your shelf
The 2015 to 2026 change map
One page, clause by clause, with the clause numbers included. From the awareness day.
Reusable internal audit checklists
Process-based, for clauses 4 to 10, written as questions about evidence rather than copies of clause text.
A document master list and an external document register
Owner, revision, approval date and next review for your own documents, and a check date for every standard you cite.
A risk and opportunity register
Split into 6.1.2 and 6.1.3, the way the 2026 edition now asks for them.
An NCR register with ageing and trend fields
So an open finding shows its age, and a repeat shows up as a pattern instead of a surprise.
A certificate per participant per course
An ITF certificate of completion, alongside the exercise output built on your own procedures.
Two offices, one certificate
A contractor with offices in Riyadh and Khobar holds one ISO 9001:2015 certificate across both.
Awareness ran in each city for the site teams, so nobody travelled and each group worked on its own office's procedures.
The internal auditors from both offices then trained together in Khobar, so the audit programme could pair an auditor from one office with a process in the other.
The contractor ended up holding one change map for both offices, one set of internal audit checklists, and a certificate per participant per course.
Asked before booking ISO 9001 training
Do you run ISO 9001 lead auditor courses?
No. ITF does not offer lead auditor training and holds no accreditation to run it. The internal auditor course trains your people to audit your own system under clause 9.2.
Is the training accredited?
It is an ITF certificate of completion, recording the participant, the course, the date, the contact hours and the assessment passed. It is training evidence of the kind clause 7.2 asks for, not an accredited qualification.
Our internal auditors trained on the 2015 edition. Do they need the course again?
Yes, if they will audit the 2026 clauses. Auditing against those clauses is exactly what the transition audit will test, and the practical work on the course is where that skill is built.
Do you deliver in Dammam, Khobar and Jubail?
Yes. On your site in Riyadh and the Eastern Province, including Dammam 2nd Industrial City, Khobar and Jubail, in Arabic, English or both. Sites elsewhere are quoted with travel shown as its own line.
Which course comes first?
Awareness, for the people who maintain the system. Then document control, then the internal auditor course. That is the order the 2026 transition path sets out.
