ITF runs a one-day FSSC 22000 scheme requirements course, built on the HACCP and ISO 22000 awareness courses beneath it. Version 7 was published in May 2026 and the transition is under way, so before every course we confirm which version your next audit will use and teach that one.

FSSC 22000 Version 6, in force at certified sites, and Version 7, published May 2026 with a transition under way, both feed a pre-course check: the date of your next audit, the version confirmed from FSSC's own document, and the course built on that version. Below, the four courses in order: HACCP, ISO 22000, the FSSC 22000 scheme course and root cause analysis.SCHEME VERSIONVERSION 6IN FORCE AT CERTIFIED SITESVERSION 7PUBLISHED MAY 2026 · TRANSITION UNDER WAYBEFORE THE COURSE DAYYOUR NEXT AUDITITS DATE AND ITS TYPEVERSION CONFIRMEDFROM FSSC'S OWN DOCUMENTCOURSE BUILT ON ITTHE VERSION YOUR AUDIT USESTHE COURSES BENEATH IT, IN ORDERHACCPHAZARD ANALYSIS · 2 DAYSISO 22000THE SYSTEM · 1 DAYFSSC 22000THE SCHEME · 1 DAYROOT CAUSECLOSING FINDINGS · 1 DAYUPGRADE DATES ARE READ FROM THE FSSC TRANSITION TABLE BEFORE EACH COURSE

FSSC 22000 training during the version change sits at step 3 of the delivery cycle. You receive a proposed programme and schedule.

01

Taught to your audit's version

Version 7 was published in May 2026 and a transition is under way, with Version 6 still in force at certified sites.

Upgrade dates and the V7 requirement list are read from FSSC's own scheme documents. Secondary sources disagree with each other on the dates, so before your course we confirm both from the source and teach the version your audit is against.

That check happens for every course, because during a transition two certified sites can face different versions depending on when their next audit falls.

Assessments you take away

01

An additional-requirements gap analysis template

One row per requirement with an evidence column, run on your own records.

02

A food defence threat assessment template

Laid out so the assessment produces the plan.

03

A food fraud vulnerability assessment template

Covering the supply chain as well as the site.

04

The workbook

Each additional requirement, and the evidence it produces, for the version your audit uses.

05

A certificate per participant

An ITF certificate of completion for each participant who meets the criteria.

04

Built around one finding

A snack manufacturer with a finding against its food fraud vulnerability assessment built its FSSC day around that finding.

The gap analysis ran on the site's own records, starting from the finding and working outwards to the other additional requirements.

The manufacturer ended up holding a gap analysis on its own records, the food defence and food fraud templates, and a certificate per participant.

05

FSSC questions we get

Q01

Can ITF certify us?

No. ITF does not certify anything. The course prepares the people who run the system; the audit and the certificate come from a certification body.

Q02

Which version will the course teach?

The version your next audit is against. We confirm it, and the upgrade dates, from FSSC's own documents before the day.

Q03

Do we need the courses underneath first?

The scheme course assumes the HACCP and ISO 22000 awareness courses, or the same knowledge from elsewhere. If the team is new to both, take them first; the Food Facility QA path puts all three in order.

Q04

Can it run in Arabic?

Yes. Arabic, English, or Arabic delivery with English material, which is the usual request for a mixed room. Confirm the language when you book, because it decides which trainer and which handouts are scheduled.

Teach the version your audit uses

Tell us your audit date, your certificate status and your open findings, and we will confirm the version and build the day on your own records.
