ITF teaches ISO 14001:2026, published 15 April 2026, through a one-day awareness course built on your own aspects and impacts, supported by document control, COSHH, risk assessment and corrective action courses. The awareness day builds your compliance obligations register in the terms of the regulator your site actually answers to.

Four sources of environmental obligation, national rules, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Ras Al Khair, MODON for Dammam 2nd Industrial City, and client contracts, feeding one compliance obligations register in three categories, with every line tagged by the regulator it answers to, and the aspect, impact and control chain below it.NATIONAL RULESEVERY SITEROYAL COMMISSIONJUBAIL · RAS AL KHAIRMODONDAMMAM 2ND INDUSTRIAL CITYCLIENT CONTRACTWHERE THE CONTRACT ADDS TERMSCOMPLIANCE OBLIGATIONS REGISTERLEGALNATIONAL + YOUR CITY'S AUTHORITYPERMIT AND LICENCEPER SITE, PER ACTIVITYVOLUNTARYCLIENT CONTRACT · GROUP POLICYEVERY LINE CARRIESTHE REGULATOR IT ANSWERS TOEVERY LINE HASAN OWNER AND A CHECK DATETHE CHAIN THE REGISTER FEEDS, WORKED ON YOUR ACTIVITIESASPECTYOUR ACTIVITYIMPACTAIR, WATER, LANDCONTROLCLAUSE 8.1OBLIGATIONFROM THE REGISTER

ISO 14001:2026 training for Saudi sites sits at step 3 of the delivery cycle. You receive a proposed programme and schedule.

01

What makes 14001 hard in the Eastern Province

The hard part is the compliance obligations register, and the reason is geography.

A site in Jubail Industrial City or Ras Al Khair answers to the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu's own environmental regulations on top of national rules. A site in Dammam 2nd Industrial City sits under MODON. Two plants running the same process can carry different obligations because of the city they sit in.

Getting the register right starts with knowing which regulator you answer to, and the awareness course builds it in those terms. Legal, permit and licence, and voluntary obligations are kept apart, and your client contracts are listed as a source of their own.

The five courses

One awareness day at the centre, and four courses that carry its controls into daily work.

Registers you leave with

01

An aspects and impacts register template

With a worked significance method, started on your own activities during the awareness day.

02

A compliance obligations register template

In three categories, legal, permit and licence, and voluntary, with a column for the regulator each line answers to.

03

An external document register

An owner and a check date per item, so a renewed permit replaces the old one on the shelf.

04

A COSHH assessment template

With a review trigger field, for the chemicals behind your significant aspects.

05

The workbook and a certificate per participant

The clause-by-clause workbook with the evidence each clause produces, and an ITF certificate of completion for each participant who meets the criteria.

04

A bid in Jubail

A contractor bidding for work in Jubail used the awareness day to build its first aspects register on its own activities.

The compliance obligations register was split three ways in the room: national requirements, Royal Commission requirements, and the client's contract terms.

The contractor ended up holding both registers in draft, built by the people who will maintain them, the workbook, and a certificate per participant.

Questions about the ISO 14001 courses

Q01

Is there an ISO 14001 internal auditor course?

Not as a separate course today. Internal auditors trained on the ISO 9001:2026 internal auditor course cover the clauses the two standards share.

Q02

We hold ISO 9001 as well. Which awareness day comes first?

ISO 9001:2026 awareness, then ISO 14001:2026 once the shared clauses are fresh. The 2026 transition path sets that order, with document control and the internal auditor course after both.

Q03

Do you come to sites in Jubail?

Yes. On-site delivery is the default, in Riyadh and across the Eastern Province including Jubail and Dammam 2nd Industrial City. On your site the exercises run on your own activities. We need a room, a screen, and the participants released for the day.

Q04

Can the awareness day run in Arabic?

Yes. Arabic, English, or Arabic delivery with English material, which is the usual request for a mixed room. Confirm the language when you book, because it decides which trainer and which handouts are scheduled.

Start from the regulator you answer to

Tell us where the site sits and what it does, and we will build the awareness day around your own aspects and your own obligations.
